This policy covers this website and the private software we use to publish the RPM Facts and Orbit Facts channels. It is written to be read, not to cover our backs: if something here is unclear, ask and we will explain it.
We do not collect personal data from visitors to this site, and our publishing software does not touch anyone's data but our own.
These pages are static. There are no accounts, no forms, no analytics, no advertising and no cookies set by us. We do not build profiles of visitors and we have nothing to sell or share.
We run our own private scripts to upload videos to our own channels. Those scripts authenticate through Google OAuth against the Google accounts that own the RPM Facts and Orbit Facts YouTube channels, and they request only:
drive.file) — to store our own
finished video files, which is how a video reaches Instagram's publishing API.
This scope only ever grants access to files our own application creates. It gives
no access to anything else in the Drive account.This access is used exclusively to publish our own content to our own channels. We are the only users of this software; it is not offered to anyone else, and it never reads, stores or transmits data belonging to any other person.
Data obtained through Google APIs is not sold, is not shared with third parties, is not used for advertising, and is not used to train any model. Credentials are stored locally on the owner's own computer and nowhere else. Google account access can be revoked at any time from Google Account permissions.
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Producing the videos involves services that have their own policies: ElevenLabs for narration, Pexels for stock footage, and NASA's public image archive. Publishing involves Google (YouTube and Drive) and Instagram. What you do on those platforms is governed by their policies, not this one.
If you watch or comment on our videos, that happens inside YouTube or Instagram and is covered by their privacy policies. We can see the same public statistics and comments any channel owner can see. We do not export, store or process that information anywhere else.
Our content is general-audience factual material and is not directed at children. Our channels are not marked as made for kids.
